Software for the management and viewing of all common image, multimedia (AVI, MPEG, MP3, etc), Office, text and web files, allowing you to rapidly search and categorize files using keywords and descriptions (which can be automatically generated).

Pros: Smart Pix Manager manages and lets you view a wide rage of media files. These include common image, multimedia files, MS Office files, Text files and web files. Multimedia files can include AVI, MPEG, MP3 files. The support of a range of files includes HTML files too. The application is able to manage files even when they are encrypted. Password protection is offered. The manager is able to browse files even inside zip archives. Password protection and encrypted database is supported. There is another interesting twist to this. You can assign false file extension names. Such as SPM to image files so that standard programs cannot be found. It manages files distributed across a network too and includes capability to even prompt for offline media like identifying and prompting for a specific CD-ROM. You can attach or remove multiple keywords to these database items. Multiple keywords make search easy. Search feature lets you from search criteria that can be a combination of AND, OR and NOT operations of keywords. Slideshow feature allows photos can be displayed in standard or random order. Multishow feature lets creation of slideshows of multiple media files. MP3 tag access and editing is available. HTML wizard makes it easy to create web sites with image indexes, thumbnail index sheets and file lists. Photo renaming is possible. Batch functionality is available for input file and adding initial keywords or removal of them. Adding of initial keywords on already sorted directories are done very quickly.

Cons: No particular problems noticed.

Overall: A neat set of feature backed by ease of use this application is a 4 star package without a doubt.
